Information We Collect
You may have the option to share your personal information on our Site when registering for services, communicating with us and/or communicating with others. Following is a summary of the information we collect during such interactions with the Site:
(a) Site Registration. When accessing some areas of the Site, registration is required before certain content and features can be accessed. Our registration forms may request your contact information (such as your name, email address, mailing address, etc.), demographic information (such as your country, gender, etc.), profile data (such as your listening/viewing preferences, etc.) and User Information (as defined in the Terms). You may be assigned a site username and/or password. For our internal purposes, we use this information to communicate with you and provide the services you have requested and to provide a more personalized experience on our Site. By visiting our Site, you affirmatively consent to our collection and use of your data.
(b) Communications from Us. Registered users of the Site may receive newsletters, email communications, or communications through other channels for, among other purposes, the promotion and marketing of a product or service from Hannah Place, and we may also offer other visitors to our Site the opportunity to sign up to receive such information. When there is a separate sign-up for newsletters, we ask for contact information such as name and email address, and, sometimes, demographic and profile information. By visiting our Site you affirmatively consent to our collection and use of your data. We use this information in the same manner as we use the contact information in the registration process described above. We may offer our users the choice whether to receive mailings from others that we think will be of interest. Recipients of our mailings can unsubscribe by following instructions that may appear at the end of email communications. Note that in order to keep our registered users informed about the operation of our services, we may send emails and announcements that are needed for the proper functioning and administration of our Site and service.
(c) Communications with Us. Hannah Place may have or implement features where you can submit information to us (such as when contacting us with a question or feedback). We may retain your emails and other information you submit to us for our internal purposes, and to help us to serve you better.
(d) Communications with Others. Hannah Place may offer features where you can send information to others. We will use the contact information you enter to send the information requested.
(e) Contests, Sweepstakes, and Surveys. Hannah Place may also have Promotions, such as contests, sweepstakes, and surveys at our Site. When you enter or participate in them, we request contact information from you (such as your full name, email address, mailing address, and telephone number) and may also request demographic or profile information. We will use the information you provide for the purpose of conducting the Promotion (for example, to contact you if you have won). We may also use the information to send you newsletters and other information we think may be of interest. Any personal information we collect may be associated with registration information. We may share aggregate information with others. The Hannah Place Site may have features that automatically collect information from users to assist us in creating a Site that honors our users’ preferences and serves their interests and needs. Portions of the Site use “cookies”, which are small data files containing information about the user that are stored on the user’s hard drive. Some cookies are used to make login to our sites easier (such as by remembering usernames and passwords). Disclosure of Information
Hannah Place does not sell or lease the information you provide to third parties. Hannah Place, however, does use other companies, agents, or contractors to perform services on our behalf. For example, Hannah Place has partnered with third party companies, to provide infrastructure and IT services, personalize and optimize our application, process credit card transactions, provide customer service, collect debts, analyze and enhance data, including user’s interaction with our website, and process consumer surveys. In the course of providing such services, these third party companies may have access to your information. We do not authorize these companies to use or disclose your personal information except for the purpose of providing the services we request of them. By visiting the Site you affirmatively consent to our collection, use and distribution of your information.
Hannah Place may use the information you provide to: (a) process orders, requests and payments, and to communicate with you about your accounts or any requests, orders, or payments; (b) provide requested services to our customers; (c) respond to any inquiries submitted to us and to provide technical support to customers and Site visitors; (d) adapt the content and information that we may provide to Site visitors to personalize experiences at the Site; (e) better understand how users access and use our Site and services; and (f) detect violations of applicable policies.
Hannah Place may share (provide and receive) aggregate information, which is not personally identifiable, with others. This information may include demographic data such as the gender and/or geographic location of groups of users, but it will not include personal information (such as your name or email address). We use aggregate demographic information about our audience in order to improve our service, for research purposes, marketing/promotional purposes and/or for industry reporting purposes, among others.
Data Collection from Children/Minors
Children Age 13 and Under: The Company recognizes the special obligation to protect personally identifiable information obtained from children age 13 and under. AS SUCH, IF YOU ARE 13 YEARS OLD OR YOUNGER, THE COMPANY REQUESTS THAT YOU NOT SUBMIT ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION TO THE SITE OR TO THE COMPANY. If the Company discovers that a child age 13 or younger has signed up on the Site or provided us with personally identifiable information, we will delete that child’s identifiable information from our records.
The Company nonetheless encourages parents to go online with their kids. Here are a few tips to help make a child’s online experience safer:
- Teach kids never to give personal information, unless supervised by a parent or responsible adult. Includes name, address, phone, school, etc.
- Know the sites your kids are visiting and which sites are appropriate.
- Look for Website privacy policies. Know how your child’s information is treated.

Hannah Place strives to comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). While the Internet and data transmission over the Internet is not 100% secure from intrusion, we maintain commercially reasonable physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect your User Information. However, regardless of our efforts and the Device you use to access the Site, it is possible that third parties may unlawfully intercept or access transmissions, private communications or other personally identifiable information.
“Phishing” is a real security risk on the Internet today. This involves a third party who attempts to steal a user’s personally identifiable information and/or financial account credentials through “spoofed” emails (e.g., emails that appear to come from Hannah Place) that lead consumers to a non-Hannah Place website, or otherwise respond in a manner that is designed to trick recipients into divulging Information such as credit card numbers, account usernames, passwords and social security numbers. Hannah Place DOES NOT SEND EMAILS ASKING YOU TO PROVIDE OR CONFIRM CREDIT CARD NUMBERS, SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBERS OR YOUR USERNAME OR PASSWORD! If you receive such email communication, please forward it immediately to the Site’s Privacy Administrator at email@example.com, and then immediately delete the fraudulent email from your computer.
Malware/Spyware/Viruses: Neither the Company nor the Site knowingly permit the use of malware, spyware, viruses, and/or other similar types of software.
Bulletin Boards and Chat Areas: Guests of the Site are solely responsible for the content of messages they post on the Company’s forums, such as chat rooms and bulletin boards. Users should be aware that when they voluntarily disclose personal information (e.g., user name, e-mail address, phone number) on the bulletin boards or in the chat areas, that information can be collected and used by others and may result in unsolicited messages from other people. You are responsible for the personal information you choose to submit in these instances. Please take care when using these features. Choice/Opt-Out: The Site may provide you the opportunity to opt-in to receive communications from us at the point where we request information about you. You always have the option of removing your name from any e-mail list in order to discontinue any such future communications. In order to ensure immediate removal from any list, please follow the specific instructions set forth within the communications you receive from the Company which you no longer wish to receive.
